Our Founders, Andrew and Tiffany Biddle, had the pleasure to be on Gumbo Talks Episode 5 with Kroger’s CEO, Rodney McCullen, and Cincinnati’s Mayor, Aftab Pureval.

Being a food business in Cincinnati where it also just happens to be where Kroger is head quartered is pretty dope! On top of that Cincinnati just received a new mayor a few months ago. Aftab, is hilarious and very in tuned with the culture and the cultural struggles in the city which is amazing. How awesome is it that the team behind Sweet Mae’s got to sit down with the CEO of Kroger and Cincinnati’s newest Mayor. To say we are proud of the progress in the last 1.5 years is an understatement. Our founders were asked by Gumbo Talks host, Rico Grant, to join him with some of Cincinnati’s biggest figures. How could they say no? They had the opportunity to sit in a room that in most circumstances being young business owners wouldn’t happen. They talked about the food scene and black culture in the community. It was truly an opportunity of a lifetime that they were so grateful to have received.
